Thanks!

We would like to thank all of our customers for their support and hard work throughout the 2009 season. Without the time, effort, and $s you and your team spend on your equipment, all the H.P. in the world would be wasted. Thanks to the great performances of our customers, we are unable to accept any new customers at this time. Hopefully, this will be a short lived "problem" but we want to maintain our quality and performance and all of this takes a tremendous amount of time. We are working on a couple of new programs for 2010 and spending hours of R&D on these during the off season. At this time Scott still performs all of the assembly, Dyno Testing, and Flowbench testing personally and it makes it impossible to keep up with the growing demand. To avoid putting out "cookie cutter" engines and just bolting together parts, we felt it best to limit the customer base to our current customers until we can put some processes in place to speed up the builds without sacrificing performance and quality while still maintaining time for testing and research to keep our engines ahead of the curve. To those racers who have spoken to Scott personally about engines for the 2010 season, we are looking forward to becoming part of your team. Thank you so much for all you've done! Please come back and check in with us as we'll be updating the blog again soon. Thanks

Thanks for your interest! We provide Dyno tested Track Proven engine combinations for 4cycle racing karts and MiniCup cars. Scott Murphy, owner of Stunner Racing Engines, has been actively involved in racing for over 25 years including Karts,Dirt Late Models,NASCAR Late Model Stocks,Drag Racing,Hooter's Pro Cup Series, even R/C cars. Being raised with his Father and Mother both being successful racers, if there's two of anything he'll line them up and see which one's faster! As a third generation racer, Scott got his start in karting at the age 7 driving for his favorite kart owner (and Grandfather) William Murphy. In the very first season of racing they managed to win multiple events as well as the points championship at the small local track he cut his teeth on. Over the next 14 years he managed to accumulate numerous wins at various tracks, along with points and track championship titles driving for multiple owners. Growing up with both his Father and Grandfather being successful engine builders, engine building became a passion with him consuming his thoughts and time. After the passing of his life long friend and Grandfather, Scott stepped away from karting to particpate in drag racing as well as Dirt and Pavement Late Model Stock Racing as a crew member where he gained vast amounts of knowledge from an adpoted brother, Robert Turner, and many other successful racers and engine builders. In 2004, with help from Robert Turner, Scott was able to acquire a SuperFlow SF600 flowbench and began to provide race winning carburetors for multiple circle track and drag racing teams. In 2008, his nephew,Chase Murphy, picked up the reins as the family driver and has not looked back thus drawing Scott back full circle to the sport of karting that has been so much of his life. With a love of the sport and a competive spirit Scott has once again turned his racing efforts back solely to building kart engines and is not looking back. With the purchase of thousands of dollars of equipment including a SuperFlow SF600 Computerized Flowbench, Computerized Davenport Engine Dyno System, and quality tools from EZ Bore, we are able to provide our customers with race winning power and reliabilty at a resaonable price. We strive to make each engine it's very best and provide trackside support to our local racers. Let our years of experience and dedication win for you! Thanks for taking the time to get to know us a little bit and we look forward to working for you in the future.
